Objectives of the Course
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Define what corruption is and describe how it works
- Discuss the role of civil society (CSOs) in doing outreach and advocacy on the issue
- Explain how the principles of good governance: transparency, accountability, and the rule of law address public sector corruption
- Identify the steps in detecting and investigating corrupt practices
- Discuss the current state of affairs in Afghanistan and civil society initiatives to promote transparency, accountability, and the rule of law
