In this lesson, we will describe the different forms of corruption. We will also reflect on your own personal experiences of corruption or of events and actions of other people where you probably have observed corruption taking place.

The UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), which is currently the only legally binding universal anti-corruption instrument, defines corruption and describes specific behaviors which are considered corruption offenses. These forms of corruption are highly destructive of transparency, accountability and the rule of law.
